The Attractions

Stari Most (Old Bridge)

The Old Bridge is the symbol of Mostar and a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture, built between 1557 and 1566 according to the design of Mimar Hayruddin, a student of Mimar Sinan. The bridge connects the eastern and western parts of the city across the Neretva River. It was destroyed in 1993 and fully reconstructed between 2001 and 2004, using traditional techniques and materials.

Bišćević House (Biscevic House)

An authentic 17th-century Ottoman urban house that illustrates the lifestyle of a wealthy family during Ottoman rule. Located in the Old Town, it is considered one of the best-preserved examples of traditional residential architecture in Mostar.

Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque

One of the most famous mosques in Mostar, built around 1618 along the Neretva River. It is especially renowned for the view from its minaret, offering one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Old Bridge and the city.
